The ideology behind Adopt A Tree is simple, to increase the green cover in Mumbai. We aim to persuade people living in urban environments to develop a lush thriving bed of plants and trees in and around any commercial or residential space. Encouraging citizens to plant trees, taking responsibility to care for them and nurture them while they grow.

I have a dream.... a dream to see the world as a better place for its citizens. A world where the people have a better quality of life, better air and with better air much improved health. A world where global warming is pushed back in a massive stroke. You may say that this is a crazy and definitely unachievable dream. And you are probably right. This may never happen and even if it does it may well be after we have left this planet. But is it wrong to dream?
The world needs a radical approach to address the major challenges that we are facing. We now need to look at ideas that will make a drastic difference. The time for tinkering has long gone. We cannot make small changes and expect to transform the world or deal with the challenges of global warming. The intelligentsia of this world is invited to put forth their crazy ideas to transform the lives of the people.
In this world of the mighty intellectuals I am perhaps a nobody. But I am convinced that the idea I am proposing can be done. The human race has the technology and the resources required to make this happen. It is simply a question of will.
So whilst we wait for the world to respond pls pledge your support to this idea. And if we have enough people say that this is worth considering then maybe somebody at the right place will listen to the thought. And somebody crazier than me shall even attempt to implement this thought.
